Job highlights

The normal responsibilities for Professor (Teaching) include: teaching classes (typically four to five courses during the two semesters of the regular academic year), working to develop CS undergraduate curriculum, and involvement in the broader CS educational community.

**Qualifications**:

- All applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics/Computer science or a closely related discipline

**Responsibilities**
- The normal responsibilities for Professor (Teaching), Assistant or Associate or Full, in Mathematics include: teaching classes (typically four to five courses during the two semesters of the regular academic year), working to develop CS undergraduate curriculum, and involvement in the broader CS educational community

**Specifics**

1. Time commitment of 40 hours a week for the University, for a 42 weeks in a year

2. Teaching as per time table and completing Number of hours (12 hours per week of teaching/ Tutorial/ Practicals) stipulated for the week

3. Teaching minimum 2 (Two) courses in a semester

4. Evaluation as per the evaluation scheme (Internal Continuous assessment and Term end examination)

5. Mentoring students

6. Completion of all academic processes relating to the teaching and evaluation of students work and uploading the required information on relevant portal

7. Working as a team with the other faculty members towards achieving excellence in teaching and transforming lives of the Sitare University students

9. Organizing events of academic importance such as Hackathons/ Seminars/ Workshops once in a semester.

Expertise desired in the following courses of - Linear Algebra, Calculus, Mathematical foundations of computing, Probability & Statistics
