Web Designer

**Job Overview**:
As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for designing visually appealing, user-friendly websites that effectively communicate the mission, values, and impact of our organisation. With a strong focus on design, layout, and branding, you will ensure that our websites provide an engaging and meaningful experience for visitors across various platforms and devices.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Design and update website layouts using HTML and CSS, ensuring consistency with the organisation’s branding and message.
- Create intuitive and accessible UI/UX designs that enhance user engagement and usability.
- Collaborate with developers and content teams to implement design elements and visual components.
- Ensure websites are mobile-responsive and visually appealing across devices and browsers.
- Maintain visual consistency and improve aesthetics across different web pages.
- Support the implementation of SEO-friendly design principles.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends and tools to enhance the website’s visual impact.
- Conduct user testing and incorporate feedback to improve overall design.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in web design or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in CSS, HTML, and basic knowledge of design software such as Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch.
- Good understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with basic UX/UI best practices and accessibility standards.
- Ability to translate ideas and content into clear, compelling visual designs.

**Compensation**:
Commensurate with experience and industry standards. To be discussed during the interview process.

**Location/Work Environment**:
This is a full-time basis.
