A Process Maintenance/Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial equipment and machinery used in manufacturing and production processes including but not limited to HVAC and other utility. This includes tasks such as inspecting equipment, diagnosing problems, and making repairs or adjustments as necessary. Process Maintenance Technicians will also be responsible for installing new equipment and ensuring that it is working properly. In addition, responsibility to provide maintenance and repair services for a variety of industrial equipment, such as conveyors, pumps, and motors. Key skills for a Process Maintenance Technician include knowledge of industrial equipment and machinery, strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, and excellent communication and customer service skills. Additionally, knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems, trouble shooting, and ability to read schematics would be an asset.

A Process Maintenance Technician's duty includes:

- Inspecting and maintaining industrial equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and to identify potential issues.
- Diagnosing problems with equipment and determining the appropriate course of action for repairs or adjustments.
- Making repairs or adjustments to equipment as needed.
- Installing new equipment and ensuring that it is functioning properly.
- Performing regular preventative maintenance on equipment to prolong its lifespan and prevent breakdowns.
- Responding to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
- Maintaining equipment logs and records, including maintenance schedules and repair histories.
- Communicating effectively with other members of the maintenance team, production staff, and management to resolve issues and ensure equipment uptime.
- Understanding and following safety protocols in the workplace.

Continuously improving skills by attending training and development opportunities.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience and ability to read schematics.
- Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to repair, install and maintain equipment.
- Complying with OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
