**Video Editor Job brief**

We are seeking a talented Video Editor to craft recorded footage into cohesive, broadcast-ready YouTube and video marketing projects. Your role is to blend sight and sound to create engaging stories.

**Responsibilities**
- Skilfully manipulate and edit film pieces to create a seamless viewing experience.
- Understand production team’s needs and specifications from briefs.
- Review shooting scripts and raw footage to make shot selection decisions based on scene value and continuity.
- Trim and organize footage segments to build a coherent sequence.
- Integrate music, dialogue, graphics, and special effects.
- Produce both rough and final cuts of videos.
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth transitions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the production and post-production process.

**Requirements and skills**
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a minimum of 2 years in the field.
- Proficient in digital technology and editing software (e.g., Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, Blender, Final Cut and Adobe Animate).
- Extensive experience with 3D video production for product marketing.
- Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional video editing skills.
- In-depth understanding of timing, motivation, and continuity.
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D, compositing techniques, and animation.
- Creative mindset with excellent storytelling abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in film studies, cinematography, or a related field; or equivalent experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:
