**Job Title: Librarian**

**Location: SSIM-IIBS, New Delhi Campus**

**Job Type: Full-Time**

**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Ø Manage day-to-day operations of the library including acquisition, cataloging, and circulation of books and digital resources.

Ø Maintain and update library management systems and databases.

Ø Assist students and faculty in locating and using library resources effectively.

Ø Ensure the library is a quiet, organized, and welcoming environment conducive to study and research.

Ø Stay current with trends in library science and adopt relevant digital tools and technologies.

Ø Liaise with faculty to support curriculum needs and research projects.

Ø Oversee library budget planning, procurement, and vendor relationships.

Ø Maintain records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with accreditation and audit standards.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
Ø Master’s degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) from a recognized university.

Ø Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an academic library, preferably in a management or higher education institution.

Ø Familiarity with integrated library systems (e.g., Koha, Libsys) and digital library platforms.

Ø Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ø Proficient in the use of digital databases, research tools, and cataloguing standards (DDC, AACR2, MARC21).

Ø Ability to assist users with research and reference queries.

Ø Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

**Desirable Attributes**:
Ø Experience with NAAC/NBA/AICTE documentation related to library services.

Ø Knowledge of copyright and licensing regulations for e-resources.

Ø Interest in curating case studies, business magazines, and management-specific content.

Pay: ₹10,819.50 - ₹50,705.60 per month
