Dream Sports (DS) Legal is the in house legal function that supports all divisions within Dream Sports ecosystem on varied legal issues relating to the existing as well as prospective businesses for the group ranging from General Corporate, M&A, Fundraise, Structuring, Litigation and Litigation strategy, IP strategy, registration, monitoring and enforcement, Data Protection etc.
**Your Role**:
- Advising various in-house teams on all aspects relating to corporate laws (FEMA, Companies Act, Data Protection Competition Laws etc.), Employment Laws (HR/Admin), Finance and Tax Laws etc.
- Leading the advisory on projects involving new age tech businesses within the domains of Fintech, Virtual Digital Assets, Gaming etc.
- Working with external legal, accounting and other advisors to ensure quality service
- Closely interacting with and advising CXOs on all relevant matters
- Managing statutory compliance and advising on corporate structuring
**Must Have**:
- 10+ years of experience in a large corporate entity or a start-up in the area of General Corporate
- Sound understanding of Corporate laws, Employment Laws, Finance and Taxation
- Strong on-ground execution as well as leadership skills
- Experience in data protection privacy, competition law issues, and Intellectual Property
**Good to Have**:
- Working knowledge in the areas of FEMA, Structuring, Comp & Benefits including ESOPs, Data Protection and Competition
- Experience in a top tier law firms with a few years in M&A, Investments teams
- Understanding of US and multi jurisdictional, securities specific laws relating to shareholder/promoter obligations
