We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Unix SA.

In this role, you will:

- Unix Systems Administrator for a DevOps infrastructure delivery role
- Configuring, delivering, and supporting Linux based server environments and services
- Implementation of new technologies and on-going support of hardware and software solutions
- Deliver and provide technical support for ITID technologies while conforming to high quality standards
- Actively participate to achieve organization objectives for efficiency, perform proactive analysis on day-to-day work
- Advise on Unix/Linux design, development, and best practices for Distributed Compute throughout project lifecycles
- Draft and maintain standards and procedures for service component capacity management, ensure correct implementation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

- Proficient in Linux server admin skills with certifications
- Demonstrable experience of Linux administration, architecture, scripting, and Veritas Volume Manager and Veritas Cluster Server troubleshooting
- Experienced in infrastructure with IBM and HP x86 hardware, virtualization platforms, storage, and network infrastructure
- Experienced in DevOps tools, configuration management, ITIL concepts, and Service operations activities
- Experienced in end-to-end agile infrastructure architecture and understanding customers' needs
- Proactive in finding better ways and implementing change with excellent communication skills
- Contributed productively to team objectives with prompt and practical business decisions
- Experienced in complying with IT/business processes, compliance and regulations.
