**Position Title: Assistant/Associate Professor**

**Department: Business Administration**

**Reports To: Dean/Head of Department**

**Position Overview**

The Associate Professor is responsible for teaching graduate-level courses, conducting research, mentoring students, and contributing to the academic development of the department. This position requires a balance of academic expertise, leadership, and a commitment to excellence in education and research.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Teaching and Curriculum Development
- Deliver high-quality lectures and interactive sessions for core and elective MBA courses.
- Design, update, and implement course content and teaching methods to align with industry trends and standards.
- Supervise case studies, group projects, and experiential learning activities.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through examinations, assignments, and participation.

**Research and Scholarly Activities**
- Conduct impactful research in business and management disciplines, resulting in publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Collaborate with colleagues and industry professionals on interdisciplinary research projects.
- Present research findings at conferences and seminars.

**Mentorship and Student Engagement**
- Guide and mentor students in academic projects, internships, and career planning.
- Provide academic and professional advice to students to enhance their learning experience.

**Departmental and Institutional Contributions**
- Participate in department meetings, curriculum reviews, and accreditation processes.
- Contribute to the development of academic policies and strategies.
- Engage in faculty development programs and promote a collaborative academic environment.

**Industry and Community Engagement**
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry leaders and alumni to enrich the MBA program.
- Organize guest lectures, workshops, and networking events to enhance student exposure to real-world business challenges.

**Qualifications**:
**Educational Requirements**
- Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- MBA with significant teaching and industry experience (may be considered in exceptional cases).

**Experience**
- Minimum of 5-15 years of teaching experience in an MBA or equivalent program.
- Demonstrated research experience with a strong publication record.
- Industry experience in leadership roles (preferred).

**Skills and Competencies**
- Expertise in at least one core area of business, such as Finance, Marketing, Strategy, Operations, or HR.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in the use of technology for teaching and research.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work collaboratively.

Pay: ₹30,587.44 - ₹152,732.50 per month
