The Customer Experience (CX) team is comprised of UX designers, information developers, researchers, and engineers who are leading the charge on product transformation and innovation. We are responsible for defining a company-wide vision for CX initiatives, helping cement our position as leaders in data management across cloud and on-prem platforms, and collaborating across the company to bring our best ideas together in new and innovative ways.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- UX Designers are responsible for helping to define the next generation of cloud-based Veritas user experiences. Your good work will directly influence the future state of UX for SaaS and On-prem products and services. You will produce scalable, cutting-edge deliverables to elevate product success and the profile of the CX organization, and work with partner groups to help deliver an excellent experience to our customers and users.
The role will include the following responsibilities:
Collaborate with Veritas’ community of CX designers to deliver consistent design requirements following CX best practices-
- Independently work and communicate project status in a timely manner.-
- Define, improve and evolve design documentation and guidelines.-
- Provide detailed and complete specifications needed by the engineering team to build and deliver optimal experience across the Veritas product portfolio.-
- Quickly iterate and revise the designs based on frequent reviews and feedback.-
- Lead fast-paced design brainstorming and ideation sessions with cross-disciplinary teams.-
- Make user experience design recommendations grounded in customer insights based on research results, field research, usability sessions, best practices, etc.-
- Compare and contrast various design solutions, taking technical and resource constraints into account.-
- Be a part of an active and supportive User Experience Design community.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum 2 - 5 years of experience designing complex software products-
- Non-confidential portfolio of student/professional work for review.-
- GPA of 3.0 or higher.-
- Strong presentation and design communication skills-
- Positive attitude, team player-
- Demonstrated experience in design problem-solving with strong visualization skills.-
- Ability to work independently and self-manage in a hybrid working environment.-
- Working experience in enterprise/complex user experience design domains.-
- Knowledge and proficiencies in wire-framing, prototyping and creating mockups, as needed, including prototyping tools such as Sketch and Balsamic-
- Good interpersonal skillsPreferred- Experience in working with cross-functional or agile software development teams.-
- Strong ability to build positive, collaborative relationships across teams/groups/functions-
- Enthusiasm, creativity, and a desire to work with an innovative team-
- Demonstrated skill in working in cross-disciplinary design/ideation sessions-
- Experience with design systems.-
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.-
- Strong visual design skills.
