As a CAD draughtsman, you will prepare detailed technical drawings and plans for various projects. You will work closely with engineers and architects to ensure that all specifications and designs adhere to industry standards.

**Objectives of the role**
- Developing detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings, designs, and models for various engineering design and architectural drafting projects.
- Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Reviewing and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to produce accurate drafts.
- Modifying existing drawings and plans as needed to accommodate changes in design or scope.
- Ensuring designs and drawings comply with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements.
- Conducting quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintaining updated and organised records of all design files, revisions, and project documentation systematically.
- Participating in project meetings to discuss design and drafting issues.
- Assisting in resolving design and technical issues during project development.

**Your tasks**
- Create precise technical drawings using CAD software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit.
- Convert hand sketches and verbal instructions into accurate CAD drawings.
- Prepare layouts, detailed drawings, and assembly diagrams for construction or manufacturing.
- Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes or modifications requested by the engineering team.
- Ensure all designs are documented and meet the required standards and codes.
- Review designs for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications.
- Assist in preparing documentation and reports related to project designs and materials.
- Prepare bills of materials and cost estimates based on drawings.
- Conduct site visits as needed to gather information and ensure design accuracy.
- Assist with the development of design standards and procedures.
- Coordinate with project managers and team to ensure timely completion of drafts.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in CAD technology and design trends.

**Required skills and qualifications**
- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a CAD Draughtsman or in a similar drafting role.
- Proficiency in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Solid technical drawing skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good understanding of engineering design, construction, and architectural drafting principles.
- Ability to interpret and work with complex technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with different teams.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and engineering principles.
- Familiarity with 3D modelling and rendering techniques and visualisation tools.
- Ability to manage several projects and coordinate with multiple teams simultaneously.

**Preferred skills and qualifications**
- Drafting experience in industries such as engineering, architecture, and manufacturing.
- Relevant certification in CAD software or drafting techniques.
- Experience in construction documentation and project management.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials.
- Ability to create presentations and visual aids for project proposals.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹42,864.10 per month
