**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.**
- Controlling all orderlies and cleaners and maintaining cleanliness and discipline in the department.
- Grouping & Collection of blood from donors and arranging for subsequent tests.
- Labeling, documenting, storing and issue of blood & to resolve any discrepancy of the same
- To prepare roster and to assign duties to all technicians
- To supervise all quality control procedures done in blood bank.
- Grouping and matching of all samples from the wards, operation theatres etc., and issuing matched blood as and when needed.
- Responsible for arranging, cleaning, preparing, assembling and sterilizing of blood sets and giving infusion sets for the whole hospital.
- Responsible for keeping adequate stock of blood transfusion sets and to issue them as needed.
- Preparing the annual indent of stores, indenting and receipt of stores and their maintenance.
- Preparing and dispatching monthly progress reports as per guidelines of drug control &NACO
- Doing any other work which may be assigned from time to time.

**Salary**: ₹16,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)
