Faculty Cad Lab

**Overview**

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s/ Associates degree in Engineering
- related program. All coursework must be from a regionally accredited institution.
- 3-5 years of experience in industry with an emphasis in CAD and/or 3D printing, with experience in training
- Must be well-versed in academic & instructional procedures, trends, research, development, resources, regulations, & so on.
- Ability to create effective instruction for delivery both online and in the classroom
- Communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2020, Autodesk Revit 2020 basic 2D/ 3D AutoCAD commands, basic line weights, alphabet of lines, and hand drawing elements.
- Must have working knowledge of Cannon plotters, scanners and blueprint machine operation. Experience using a laminator desired.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare required course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, and catalog descriptions for assigned courses, and assist in curriculum development for the same.
- Provide instruction and develop student skills for assigned courses. Assist them with classroom instructions, assignments, & skill development.
- Monitor and record student aptitude and performance and submit grades in accordance with College policy.
- Implement the College’s academic policies & enforce student compliance along with close co-operation with faculty & staff members.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation process for all course functions, & assist in overseeing compliance with applicable safety standards, OSHA regulations, accident prevention rules and procedures, and hazardous materials handling requirements in the classroom and on all college-related projects.
