**Position**: Staff Nurse
**Reports to**: Nurse Manager / Head Nurse / Department Supervisor
**Location**: WOMEN PRIDE HOSPITAL & IVF, ALWAR

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Position Overview**:
A Staff Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care and ensuring the effective delivery of healthcare services to patients. The role involves monitoring patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the overall well-being of patients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Care and Monitoring**:

- Assess patients' health status by performing physical exams and obtaining medical histories.
- Monitor vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper dosages.
- Provide wound care, dressings, and other therapeutic treatments.
- Assist in the implementation of care plans in collaboration with doctors, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting all care provided.
- Monitor and document patient progress, changes in condition, and any issues that may arise.
- Report patient status to the Nurse Manager, Physicians, or relevant healthcare providers as necessary.
- **Patient Education and Advocacy**:

- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and aftercare.
- Answer questions, provide emotional support, and act as an advocate for the patient’s needs.
- **Collaboration with Healthcare Team**:

- Collaborate with doctors, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to care plan discussions.
- **Medical Equipment and Supplies**:

- Ensure that medical equipment is in good working condition and report any malfunctioning items.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of medical supplies and ensure stock levels are adequate.
- **Infection Control**:

- Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including sanitization and proper disposal of medical waste.
- **Emergency Response**:

- Respond promptly to emergency situations, including CPR, first aid, or other life-saving interventions.
- Be prepared to assist in urgent situations as part of the emergency response team.
- **Other Duties**:

- Assist in patient admissions, transfers, and discharges as necessary.
- Ensure that patients' physical and emotional comfort is prioritized during all phases of care.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or an equivalent qualification.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice.
- **Experience**:

- Previous clinical experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
- Experience in specific areas of healthcare (e.g., ICU, Pediatrics, Surgery) is a plus.
- **Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong clinical knowledge and proficiency in nursing procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
- **Certifications**:

- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications may be required, depending on the department.

**Physical Demands**:

- The role may involve long hours, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects for extended periods.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments and deal with patients' emotional or physical stress.

**Work Environment**:

- Hospitals, clinics, outpatient centers, or other healthcare facilities.
- Exposure to bodily fluids, infectious diseases, and other environmental risks may occur.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: ₹10,694.46 - ₹38,787.62 per month
