JOB TITLE : Store Keeper
LOCATION : Suratgarh, Rajasthan
JOB SUMMARY:
A **Store Keeper** is responsible for managing the storage, organization, and inventory of goods in a retail or warehouse setting. Their duties include overseeing stock levels, maintaining proper storage conditions, receiving and inspecting deliveries, managing stock records, and ensuring that all items are readily available for sales or production needs. A storekeeper also plays a role in ensuring safety and cleanliness within the storage areas.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Inventory Management**:
- Track and manage the store's inventory, ensuring all stock is accounted for.
- Regularly perform stock checks and update inventory records.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder items when necessary.
- **Receiving & Storing Goods**:
- Receive deliveries, inspect items for damage, and verify quantities against purchase orders.
- Properly store goods in designated locations to prevent damage and ensure easy access.
- **Stock Organization**:
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe storage environment.
- Ensure items are easily accessible and properly labeled.
- **Record Keeping**:
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements, including receipts and issues.
- Generate inventory reports and assist in stock audits.
- **Quality Control**:
- Ensure that stored goods are in good condition and within their expiration dates (if applicable).
- Report any discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisors.
- **Safety and Compliance**:
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines in handling hazardous materials (if applicable).
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and legal regulations.
- **Customer Service (if applicable)**:
- Assist in fulfilling orders or responding to queries related to stock.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
