Planning scheduling and adhering to the planned schedule
Maintaining adequate Guests supplies and cleaning supplies
Verifying filled worksheets (A.M, P.M, Mini bar)
Planing conducting training programs and formatting the same in the training cards
Receiving and maintaining of stock for linens and uniforms
Issuing of Gate pass issue for linen and uniform
Making of the snag list of newly taken areas weekly, checking of the job complete
Monitoring spring cleaning schedules
Ensures maintenance, hygiene and cleanliness of Guest rooms, Guest corridors, service corridors, service corridors, public areas, gardens, exterior of the Hotel, service slides and back of the house areas in accordance with hotel standards
Controls of floor master keys
Prepares duty roaster for the staff
Ensures that Room attendants, Housemen are properly groomed
Monitors the progress and is responsible for daily maintenance of rooms and public areas
Personally checks on readiness of rooms blocked for VIPs
Monitors consumption of Guest supplies to reduce wastage
Prepares and monitors periodic cleaning schedules
Recommends changes in systems and procedure in the department to increase efficiency
Responsible for carpet crew, upholstery and tailors
Meets and interacts with Guests, special VIPs, long stay, ill Guests, etc
Leave register maintenance
Ensures constant on-the-job training and facilitates class room training for subordinate
Counsels subordinates in work related matters
Maintains adequate stock of items
Co-ordinates with the control desk regarding cleaning of departure rooms VIP rooms and un repair rooms
Evenly allocates the work
Monitors Workload and shifting whenever necessary
Adopts the cleaning methods
Proper follow up of all maintenance work
Ensures thorough daily checking that public areas are not misused by staff or outsiders
Monitors consumption of Guest supplies to reduce wastage
Ensuring that rooms are checked on time for preparing proper mini bar consumption
Ensuring that maintenance given are followed up
Making report on mini bar placement for the day
Ensuring that the mini bar procedures laid down for the department, as well as the various coordinating departments are followed
Briefing so as to keep the staff up to date about the day to day activity of the Housekeeping and other coordinating department
Meeting the guest on regular basis, so as to ensure that Housekeeping to provides the highest level service of service and commitment to Guests
Informing the Lobby Manager and security about the about the day activities
To maintain and update training cards
