Company Overview:
Iera Living is a leading buying agency in India, connecting global brands and retailers with quality manufacturers throughout the country. We are now looking for a Senior Merchandiser with a focus on hard goods production and product development to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Product Development: Work closely with international and domestic clients and domestic suppliers to develop new products that align with market trends and client requirements. This involves interpreting design ideas, creating and maintaining development timelines, and managing the sample creation process.
- Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers. Evaluate and select vendors based on their ability to meet product specifications, delivery deadlines, and cost targets. Regularly review their performance and provide feedback.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality control process with the dedicated QC team to ensure that all goods meet the required standards and specifications. Identify any issues that may affect product quality or delivery timescales and work proactively to resolve them.
- Order Management: Manage the complete order process, including creating purchase orders, coordinating with manufacturers, monitoring production schedules, and ensuring on-time delivery.
- Costing and Negotiation: Negotiate costings and terms with suppliers. Analyze and understand market trends, commodity costs, and currency fluctuations to secure the best possible prices.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to junior merchandisers. Ensure clear communication across the team and with other departments.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on product development status, order tracking, supplier performance, and market trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in merchandising or procurement, specifically within the hard goods sector.
- Proven experience in product development, supplier management, and quality assurance.
- Strong negotiation skills and understanding of cost structures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Hands on approach - not afraid to get hands dirty both in terms of product and processes.

**Salary**: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
