A Restaurant Cashier handles all financial transactions, provides excellent customer service, and contributes to a positive dining experience by greeting customers, processing payments, and answering inquiries. They are responsible for accurately using a POS system, handling cash, credit, and debit cards, and ensuring proper receipt issuance. Key Responsibilities:

- **Customer Service**:Greet customers, answer questions about the menu, and provide a welcoming and positive atmosphere.
- **Payment Processing**:Accurately process customer orders, accept cash, credit, and debit card payments, and issue receipts.
- **POS System**:Operate the point-of-sale system for accurate transaction recording and billing.
- **Cash Handling**:Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring accuracy and compliance with cash handling procedures.
- **Customer Assistance**:Help customers with inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- **Order Processing**:Take orders accurately, whether in-person or over the phone, and notify kitchen staff of any special requests.
- **Inventory Management**:Assist with basic inventory management and restocking as needed.
- **Cleanliness**:Maintain a clean and organized cashier station and checkout area.
- **Other Duties**:May assist with other tasks as needed, such as wrapping take-out orders or processing discounts and coupons.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Basic math skills for accurate calculations and change making.
- Customer service skills for handling customer inquiries and resolving issues.
- Communication skills for effective interactions with customers and staff.
- Computer literacy for operating POS systems and other computer-related tasks.
- Experience in food service or retail is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED certificate may be required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle cash and credit transactions efficiently.

Pay: ₹10,003.32 - ₹24,102.47 per month
