- Excellent written skills in English/Hindi.
- Proven working experience as a Team Lead/Manager managing a newsroom and flow of
- Prior experience in working with print, broadcast or digital media.
- Proven familiarity with SEO and social media best practices.
- An eye for detail along with critical thinking.
- Background in Online Journalism.

- Responsibilities
- Lead the news team at Newzera in generating the news in the form of modern short-form
- Produce news to present information with accuracy, flow and within the time frame.
- Manage a team of writers, prepare work schedules and deadlines.
- Design innovative and unique solutions and strategies to optimize routine news coverage
- Encourage team members to meet targets to facilitate timely publication.
- Help and guide the team of ground reporters for better coverage and providing fast news.
- Brainstorm and direct the creation of news stories, series, concepts, themes, and formats
- Work on the content strategy to increase the reach and visibility of the app.
- Come up with New Beats that can attract Gen Z and widen the user base.
- Hire writers and contribute to building up a high-quality writer pool.
- Provide training to news reporters on how to select news for existing readership and gain
- Manage a team of remote interns in a way to maximize the news output from them along
- Analyze and capitalize various attributes and requirements of print and digital media to
- Evaluate all news articles for authenticity and check with sources to ensure the
- Coordinate with colleagues in the newsroom and other departments to define priorities
- Collaborate with writers, editors, multimedia producers and anchors to facilitate efficient
