**Responsibilities & Key Deliverables**
- Project Management
- Coordination with Homeroom Engineering and execution of Product development as per Mahindra Product Development System ( MPDS) process complying gateway deliverables, meeting Time, Cost and Performance targets
- Product Development
- Technical assistance and support to manufacturing operations before / during/ after launching.
- Assistance to all related functions for implementation of engineering changes from verification proto phase till mass production of new projects
- Tracking of Build, Nova C, Validation and RGA ( Reliability Growth Analysis) concerns related to VES ( Vehicle Electrical Elecronics & Software ) for resolution
- Identifying Project Engineering risks during product development cycle and proposing mitigation plan to ensure TCP targets
- Continuous Improvement
- Responsible for VA/VE activities to achieve yoy Material Cost reduction target
- Assist Strategic Sourcing and & CDMM departments in alternate sourcing,standardization and localization by
- providing technical & engineering BOM information, and review Engineering changes with
- all functions.
- Coordinate Vehicle level Homologation, Type Approval Certification, COP, CAFE and market specific requirements from VES perspective.
- Engineering Change management for minor Refresh programs & Quality improvements towards Warranty Cost Reduction
Vehicle Design & Development
- Lead the engineers for electrical & Internet, mechanical and Trim components / system’s
- design release, part development, integration check and validation of design & process
- through Auto qualification and integrative testing.
- Study and upgrade standards and PPAP (Part Approval Process) as per MGI standards and
- India specific changes necessary for Product Quality improvement and Continuous Product
- Improvement.
- Product Benchmarking exercise to define performance specification, participation for quality
- improvements, product life enhancement, feature enhancement & PD process improvement.
EV vehicle development
- Technology enhancement to meet future technology needs in the country for better Range,
- Battery life, EV vehicle development to achieve BIC performance. Localization of EV
- specific systems keeping BC, technology & supplier capability in India in mind.
- Vehicle Electrical systems, Internet, iSMART connectivity management
- Coordinate development of SW with Homeroom and SW validation activities in India on
- vehicle as well as on bench setup. Coordinate Lamps, Wiring harness, switches and electrical
- parts & control Modules development.
- Vehicle Powertrain management for Emission, FE and Regulatory requirements (Gasoline & Diesel)
- Coordination with Homeroom and Test Agencies for development & Testing.
Vehicle & Component level validation Testing
- Sound knowledge of vehicle systems, Global testing procedures, good understanding of
- Root-Cause-Analysis, command in vehicle assessment and awareness of benchmark vehicles
- as well.

**Experience**
- 20 years+ in automotive 4W OEMs with last 5 years being in a functional leadership role
- Diverse experience in areas of product engineering, product design, R&D and project management
- **Industry Preferred**
- Automotive OEMs with EV domain expertise
- **Qualifications**
- B.Tech/ M.tech Degree with specialization in Electrical & Electronics engineering
