Established in January 2005, KCI in Gurgaon, works in close collaboration with the Global offices of Egon Zehnder. There are 5 teams that make up KCI: Experts, Research Operations, Visual Solutions, Projects/CV Capture and Global Technology Services.

**Requirements**:
**Role and Responsibility**:
The Architect will also be expected to actively participate in design and implementation of projects bearing a high degree of technical complexity and/or scalability and performance significance.

Work closely with various IT functions and Legal team to ensure that technical knowledge is maintained, and that Release management and other deployments can be accurately and timely answered.

**Experiences and Key Competencies**:

- Engineering Degree or equivalent
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in C#, MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, Web Services and API development using REST and SOA
- At least 2 years of experience in Design and implementation of Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD) and Tools Migration and consolidation using one or more of the DevOps tools/technologies.
- Evaluate tools for CI-CD pipeline and set up the same across production, QA and development environments.
- Create re-usable frameworks through hands-on development and unit-testing
- Document technical designs using flow charts, class diagrams, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, data flow diagrams, database schemas, descriptive software component documentation, and wireframes.
- Help guide the technology directions by recommending specific technologies to pursue, suggesting training and staff development activities, and monitoring the Egon Zehnder roadmap.
- Keep an eye on technical ecosystem and propose remedies and code refactoring as and when required.
- Contribute to tools that help increase developer productivity through automation.
- Stakeholder management with an ability to gain others support for ideas, proposals, projects, and solutions
- Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Escalate issues/risks pro-actively to appropriate stakeholders.
- Regularly communicate status and challenges to team members and management

**Skills**:

- C#, MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, Web Services and API development using REST or SOAP
- Should have exposure on Angular/React JS etc
- Experience with one or more of the following databases: SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Couch-base, Redis, Elastic Search or other NoSQL technologies
- Experience in Micro-services, Containers and Orchestration tools, deploy and manage Applications on Azure App Service/AKS.
- Ability to Understand and articulate the technical merits.
- Ability to accurately estimate software development tasks given a set of requirements and assumptions; ability to work with Project Managers to develop task-level project plans and proposals
- Ability to develop secure solutions and knowledge of industry best practices regarding information security and defensive development
- Understanding of deployment architecture and infrastructure in both on-prem and cloud hosting environments
- Nice to have experience in some of C++
- Excellent oral and written communication with an ability to articulate complex systems to multiple teams.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work under mínimal supervision
- Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and limitation issues
