Key Responsibilities

The Key Responsibilities include the following but not limited to
- Responsible for driving HR process excellence initiatives using Ex and CI frameworks, tools, resources and methodology.
- Engage and work closely with functional leaders, including senior business and HR leadership to drive HR process excellence projects.
- Identify improvement/efficiency opportunities across all HR processes managed within Nissan, working closely with the Global and Regional Process Owners, Technology Product Owners, HR Ops and People Analytics and their teams.
- Perform diagnoses and select the most appropriate tool for determining root cause.
- Support PEX Lead in implementing engagement review and quality assurance procedures in accordance with agreed methodology across the process excellence initiatives.
- Consistently report and review process excellence projects’ performance to the PEX Lead.
- Engage with the wider stakeholders influencing people processes and external process excellence communities to drive best practices and learnings.
- PEX will include the following main elements
- Process Modelling (Process Discovery, Process Ideation and Process Design)
- Process Documentation (HR Playbook, SOPs, Work Instructions, Metrics Catalogue, Forms and Templates, technical manuals)
- Process Architecture (People Practices, Process Taxonomy, Best practices)
- Ex measures (Process Governance, Analytics, Audit, Risks Mgmt)
- Process Performance (Process Maturity and Process Standardisation)
- Process Control (Workflows, Data Standards)
- Process Change Mgmt (Process implementation, Job Aids, Process Training, Process Transition, Process Comm, Process Services)

- Proven ability to run scaled and high impact HR process excellence projects.
- Ability to work with a function leadership teams to identify and prioritise opportunities for improvement.
- Relationship and stakeholder management, preferably at middle management level (e.g., persuading and influencing skills).
- Demonstrated experience of sustaining and developing critical relationships preferably in a consulting environment.
- Demonstrated mastery of HR process excellence competency principles and practices, e.g., System diagnostics and value stream mapping.
- Experience leading process simplification and standardization initiatives in a global complex environment.
- Exceptional communication skills including coordination skills, facilitation, good personal presentation, oral and written communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving using strong analytical skills to formulate hypotheses based on available data.
