Job Description:
As a Business Development Officer, your primary responsibility is to foster and develop new business opportunities for the company. You will play a crucial role in identifying and engaging potential clients, including architects, contractors, realtors, and other relevant stakeholders. Your efforts will contribute to the growth and expansion of the company's client base.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential clients and stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

2. Client Prospecting: Identify and target architects, contractors, realtors, and other professionals in the construction and real estate industry as potential clients.

3. Client Visits: Schedule and conduct visits to architects' offices, construction sites, real estate agencies, and other relevant locations to establish relationships, understand their needs, and present the company's products or services.

4. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, contractors, and realtors through regular communication, networking events, and industry conferences.

5. Product/Service Presentations: Deliver effective presentations and demonstrations of the company's products or services to potential clients, showcasing the value proposition and addressing their specific requirements.

6. Proposal Development: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop customized proposals and solutions that meet the clients' needs and align with the company's capabilities.

7. Negotiations and Deal Closure: Lead negotiations with potential clients, addressing any concerns or objections, and working towards closing deals that are mutually beneficial for the client and the company.

8. Account Management: Work closely with the account management team to ensure smooth transition and onboarding of new clients, providing necessary information and support during the initial stages of the relationship.

9. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and business development efforts using CRM software or other designated tools.

10. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to align strategies, share insights, and contribute to overall company growth.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role
- Strong understanding of the construction and real estate industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Self-motivated and target-driven
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools
- Willingness to travel frequently to visit clients and attend industry events
