The Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) - Biology is responsible for delivering high-quality education to senior secondary students (Grades 11 & 12) as per the CBSE curriculum. The teacher should foster a stimulating learning environment, encourage scientific inquiry, and prepare students for board exams and competitive entrance tests.

**Key Responsibilities : Teaching & Curriculum Delivery**:

- Plan and deliver engaging and concept-driven Biology lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Utilize various teaching methodologies, including interactive and experiential learning, to enhance student understanding.
- Develop lesson plans, assessments, and assignments in accordance with CBSE guidelines.
- Integrate modern teaching aids such as digital tools, models, and laboratory experiments.
- Ensure timely completion of the syllabus with adequate revisions and exam preparation.

**Student Engagement & Academic Excellence**:

- Encourage students to develop a scientific mindset and analytical thinking.
- Provide academic support for students preparing for competitive exams like NEET.
- Conduct remedial and enrichment classes to cater to different learning needs.
- Assign and evaluate projects, practical experiments, and research-based activities.

**Laboratory & Practical Work**:

- Guide students in conducting Biology experiments in the laboratory.
- Maintain lab safety protocols and ensure proper usage of equipment.
- Organize field visits and hands-on activities to enhance experiential learning.

**Assessment & Progress Monitoring**:

- Conduct formative and summative assessments as per CBSE norms.
- Evaluate answer scripts, provide feedback, and maintain student performance records.
- Identify weak areas and provide necessary interventions for student improvement.

**Collaboration & Professional Development**:

- Work closely with colleagues, school administration, and parents to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Attend faculty meetings, workshops, and professional development programs.
- Stay updated with advancements in the field of Biology and integrate new learning strategies.

**Discipline & Student Mentorship**:

- Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
- Mentor and guide students on career opportunities in Biology and related fields.
- Encourage participation in science fairs, Olympiads, and research projects.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in Biology / Botany / Zoology / Life Sciences from a recognized university.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory as per CBSE norms.
- Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE school (preferred).
- Strong communication, classroom management, and technological skills.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
