Position Summary:
The Medical Officer is responsible for managing and overseeing healthcare-related documents, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of pre-authorization and claims and maintaining compliance with regulatory procedures. This role involves close interaction with healthcare providers, team managers, and specialists to ensure smooth and efficient operations within the department.

Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently manage, organize, and secure patients' healthcare documents.

Ensure error-free processing of pre-authorization requests and claims within the agreed TAT.

Review structured clinical data, matching it against specified medical terms, diagnoses, or procedure codes.

Inform healthcare providers as necessary and file completed pre-certification requests in accordance with procedural guidelines.

Escalate any authorizations not within the limit or process to the team manager on a priority basis.

Seek and escalate required medical opinions from specialists when necessary.

Ensure all processes are compliant with regulatory procedures and organizational policies.

Maintain daily Excel records for pre-authorization cases received and processed.
