Operates semi-automatic and automatic palletizers, palletizing a variety of packaged ware according to established pallet patterns. Consistently executes Quality System work procedures pertinent to the position. This work includes such duties as:
Sets up machine backstop and sidestop for each item based on pallet pattern information sheet.

Selects proper pallet pattern and tier count quantity setting on machine. Maintains pallet pattern file.

Operates control of accumulation conveyor to allow packaged ware to flow to palletizer.

Manually forms the designated loading pattern by sliding the packaged ware units on the sliding plate.

Release sliding plate to allow tier of cases or units to drop onto pallet. Repeat cycle of each tier according to designated pattern until pallet load is complete. Ties load of ware. Manually operates pallet dispenser and/or machine functions with jog buttons when automatic machine cycle malfunctions. Manually removes damaged cases or units from line.
