Order Taker

**Job Overview**

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Restaurant Order Taker to join our team. The Order Taker will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service while accurately taking and processing food and beverage orders. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers in a polite and professional manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Take customer orders accurately in-person, over the phone, or through digital platforms.
- Enter orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system promptly and correctly.
- Provide detailed menu information, answer customer questions, and offer recommendations.
- Upsell menu items when appropriate to enhance the guest experience and maximize sales.
- Communicate special requests, dietary needs, or allergies to the kitchen staff.
- Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and issue receipts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the order-taking area and workstations.
- Assist with light prep work, such as packaging to-go orders or restocking supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints with patience and professionalism.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a customer service or restaurant role is a plus but not required.
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling preferred.
- Friendly, approachable with a passion for providing great customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to take direction and follow instructions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
