Blood Bank Technician

Understands blood storage methods, demonstrates knowledge of testing processes which includes blood grouping, cross matching.
- Organize work by matching blood requests with test tube labelling; sorting samples; checking labelling; logging samples; cross matching and reserving units ready for issue, keeping work surfaces clean and orderly.
- All activities & records to be maintained as per relevant SOP.
- Document all the necessary information in the required blood storage records in the respective work area.
- Maintains donor/patient confidence by keeping laboratory information confidential.
- Ensures the issue of blood components / units for patient care.
- Ensure Universal precautions are followed strictly.
- Ensuring BMW management Infection control practices.
- Performing routine technical procedures of blood bank, after having been oriented to the departments policies procedures and equipments.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
