**Job Title**: Online GCSE Math Tutor (Functional Skills Level 4)

**Target Learners**: 16-18-year-olds aiming to achieve Functional Skills Level 4 in Math

**Note: We are looking for experienced online GSCE Math tutors with prior experience teaching students aged 16-18. This is a full-time role for a college based in London**

**Role Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated Online GCSE Math Tutor to support students aged 16-18 in achieving their Functional Skills Level 4 qualifications. The tutor will deliver engaging online group and individual sessions, adapting lessons to meet the learners' specific needs while fostering mathematical skills critical for their academic and real-life success.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Lesson Planning and Delivery**:

- Conduct interactive online group and one-to-one math sessions tailored to the GCSE curriculum.
- Focus on key topics like algebra, geometry, statistics, and problem-solving.

**Curriculum and Skills Development**:

- Align lessons with the GCSE Math curriculum and Functional Skills standards.

**Assessment and Feedback**:

- Perform diagnostic assessments to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
- Prepare learners for GCSE exams with regular assessments and constructive feedback.

**Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain records of attendance, progress, and completed assignments.
- Provide updates to relevant stakeholders (parents, institutions, etc.).

**Qualifications and Experience**

**Essential**:

- Experience teaching GCSE Math to students aged 16-19.
- Familiarity with Functional Skills Math curriculum and GCSE exam requirements.
- Proficiency with online teaching tools like Zoom or Teams.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

**Desirable**:

- Experience preparing students for GCSE Math exams or Functional Skills Level 4.
- Awareness of barriers faced by students struggling to meet the required standards.

**Person Specification**:

- Patient, empathetic, and skilled at adapting to diverse learner needs.
- Engaging teaching methods to motivate and support learners.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster a positive and productive learning environment.
- Commitment to helping learners develop practical math skills and academic confidence.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
