**Job roles and responsibilities**

Ø He/She should estimate HB level and blood grouping of donors.

Ø Should have a good coomunication, interpersonal and management skill.

Ø He/She should prepare blood components.

Ø He/She should perform tests for transfusion and transmitted infections.

Ø He/She should perform ABO Rh blood grouping and cross matching.

Ø He/She should perform DCT & ICT.

Ø He/She should issue blood and blood components.

Ø He/She should perform quality control of components antiserum.

Ø He/She should perform tests for VDRL and malaria.

Ø He/She should collect blood from the donors and perform the process as instructed by the higher authority.

Ø He/She should maintain all records followed in the department and inform the head in case of any discrepancy.

Ø He/She should strictly follow the waste disposal policies and lab safety protocols.

Ø He/She should maintain, calibrate and control quality of blood screening equipment.

Ø He/She should assist higher authorities in complicated sample analysis.

Ø He/She should act as the in charge of the department in case of absence of the higher authority.

Ø He/She should provide all test reports of the samples collected from the wards and operations theatres accurately and on time without any delay as instructed.

Ø He/She should coordinate with the team and work effectively.

Ø Should report duty on time as instructed by the higher authority.

Ø Should have a good communication, interpersonal and management sill.

Ø He/She should attend all training programmes and meetings conducted by the department.

Ø He/She should follow all rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the organization strictly. In case of any discrepancy necessary actions will be taken.

Ø He/She should follow the leave procedure and inform their head before availing leave.

Ø Any other duties assigned by the management from time to time.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
