**Role Summary**: The OT (Operating Theatre) Nurse will be instrumental in supporting IVF-related procedures in the surgical unit. This role involves preparing for specialized IVF surgical procedures, assisting surgeons, and maintaining a sterile environment in the OT.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare the OT for IVF surgeries and procedures, ensuring all required instruments and supplies are sterile and in place.
- Assist surgeons during IVF procedures, including egg retrieval and embryo transfer, passing instruments, and providing necessary support.
- Monitor patient vitals pre-, intra-, and post-operatively with a focus on IVF-specific requirements.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere strictly to infection control protocols, especially for IVF and reproductive health procedures.
- Record and document surgical procedures and patient care in detail.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative education to patients and families on IVF-related procedures.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, with a specialization or additional training in Operating Theatre Nursing.
- Valid Nursing License (Registered Nurse in Karnataka).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an OT Nurse, specifically in IVF or fertility treatment settings.
- Knowledge of OT equipment, sterilization techniques, and IVF-related surgical procedures.

**Skills Required**:

- Strong understanding of IVF surgical procedures, OT protocols, and patient care.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to remain focused in a high-stress, sensitive environment.
- Good communication skills to work effectively with the surgical and IVF team.
- Physical stamina to handle long and demanding shifts, especially in the IVF unit.
