Key Responsibilities of a Welder:

- **Interpreting Blueprints and Drawings**:Welders need to understand technical drawings to determine the required dimensions, layout, and welding procedures.
- **Setting up Welding Equipment**:This includes selecting the appropriate welding method, adjusting settings, and ensuring the equipment is in proper working order.
- **Performing Welding**:Welders use various welding techniques (e.g., arc welding, MIG welding) to join metal pieces.
- **Quality Control**:They inspect welds for defects and ensure they meet specified standards and specifications.
- **Maintaining Welding Equipment**:This includes cleaning, lubricating, and repairing welding machines and tools.
- **Safety Compliance**:Welders must follow strict safety procedures, including wearing proper safety gear, using equipment correctly, and ensuring a safe work environment.
- **Cutting and Shaping Metal**:Welders may use tools like plasma cutters and grinders to cut, shape, or prepare metal for welding.
- **Performing Repairs**:They may be responsible for repairing damaged metal structures or equipment.
- **Taking Measurements and Laying Out Pieces**:Welders use measuring tools to accurately plan and layout metal pieces for welding.
- **Collaborating with Others**:They may work with other tradespeople, such as fabricators and fitters, to complete projects.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
