**Job Title**: Tax Intern/ CPA

**Location**: Hyderabad

**Job Type**: Full-time, 5:30 PM - 2:30 AM IST)

**Department**: Tax

**Reports To**: Senior Tax Manager/ Tax Director

**Position Overview**: The Tax Intern will support the Tax department in various tasks related to tax compliance, reporting, and research. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in tax and accounting to gain hands-on experience and learn from seasoned professionals in the field.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns.
- Support the team in compiling tax-related data and documentation.
- Help with the analysis of financial statements and tax implications of various transactions.
- Conduct research on tax laws, regulations, and policies.
- Participate in tax planning and compliance projects.
- Assist in the preparation of tax provision calculations and supporting schedules.
- Help with the maintenance of tax records and documentation.
- Support the team with ad-hoc tax-related tasks and projects as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
- Strong academic performance with a focus on tax and accounting courses.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of tax concepts and principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Familiarity with tax preparation software
- Prior internship or work experience in tax or accounting (preferred but not required).
