A CCTV Control Room Operator is responsible for actively monitoring live video feeds from surveillance cameras in a control room, identifying suspicious activities, potential security threats, and responding appropriately by alerting security personnel or emergency services, while maintaining detailed logs of incidents and ensuring the proper functioning of the CCTV system.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Surveillance Monitoring**:Continuously observe live CCTV footage from multiple cameras, identifying any unusual or suspicious behavior, potential security breaches, or safety hazards.
- **Incident Reporting**:Immediately report any detected incidents, such as theft, vandalism, trespassing, or disturbances, to relevant security personnel or emergency services.
- **Log Keeping**:Maintain detailed logs of all observed incidents, including timestamps, camera locations, descriptions of events, and actions taken.
- **Camera Manipulation**:Adjust camera angles and zoom levels to focus on specific areas of interest as needed.
- **System Management**:Monitor the functionality of the CCTV system, identifying and reporting any technical issues or malfunctions to maintenance personnel.
- **Evidence Preservation**:Record and store relevant CCTV footage for potential investigations or legal purposes, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
- **Communication**:Effectively communicate with security personnel, dispatchers, and other relevant parties regarding security concerns or emergency situations.

**Required Skills**:

- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to focus on multiple screens simultaneously and detect subtle anomalies in video footage.
- **Decision-Making**: Quickly assess situations and make appropriate responses to potential threats.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Familiarity with CCTV system operation, camera controls, and recording functionalities.
- **Observation Skills**: Excellent visual acuity and the ability to identify and interpret significant details in video footage.
- **Report Writing**: Clear and concise documentation of incidents and observations.
- **Communication Skills**: Effective verbal and radio communication to relay information accurately.

**Work Environment**:

- Typically based in a dedicated control room with multiple monitors displaying live CCTV feeds.
- May require shift work, including overnight hours depending on the security needs of the facility.
- May involve monitoring various locations across a large property or complex.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
