**Job Description**:
VMware Admin

- Knowledgeable, creative, hardworking individual to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced operations environment supporting a 24x7x365 mission critical VM, Windows & Linux environment.
- The system administrator is responsible for day-to-day operational maintenance, support, OS installations and upgrades for enterprise servers.
- Monitor and tune systems to achieve optimum performance levels.
- Experience with Enterprise Backups
- On call support might be required for troubleshooting or pre-planned maintenance on production systems.

Essential Duties:

- Solid understanding of Virtualization (VM) based technology
- Windows 2003/2008/2008 R2 Server support and troubleshooting or administrative and troubleshooting knowledge of Red Hat Linux.
- Creation of Windows and Linux VM templates
- Load, and deploy new virtual servers from VMWare templates
- Maintain Windows and Linux VM templates
