Role - Textile Designer

Experience Requirement : - 5-6 Year
Location - Noida ( Who will be comfortable for sector 80 noida location)
Industries - Rugs & Carpet and Home Furnishing.

Role & Responsibilities

Job description
Key Responsibilities

Producing sketches, designs and samples for presentation to management.
Facilitate têxtile research presentation for every upcoming collection
Textile sourcing for new qualities
Coordinate with vendors for new developments.
Develop embroidery artworks
Maintain development status
Making up sets of sample designs
Liaising with technical, marketing and buying staff to plan and develop designs
Assessing and approving completed items as per production standards
Liaising closely with brands design & merchandising teams
Using specialist software and computer-aided design (CAD) programs to develop a range of designs
Experimenting with colour, fabric and texture
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of new design and production techniques and têxtile technology
Develop new têxtile design concepts
Visiting sites and other sources of ideas for têxtile designs
Sourcing fabrics and other materials at trade fairs, markets and shops
Keeping up to date and spotting fashion trends in fabric design by reading forecasts in trade magazines and using internet resources.

Candidature

Graduate degree in Textile Design.
At least 5-6 years’ experience in têxtile design & development with a recognised fashion brand/designer
Creative flair and artistic ability
A good eye for colour, texture, fabrics and patterns
Excellent attention to detail
Knowledge of Rugs & Carpet, Pouf, Cushion, Wall Hanging and Home Furnishing Product.
An interest in fashion and têxtiles, and an understanding of trends and materials
Understanding and experience of using different te
