**Dance Teacher - Job Overview**

Nova Institute of Medical Sciences and Medical Research Center is seeking an energetic and passionate Dance Teacher to join our arts education team. In this role, you will be responsible for teaching a variety of dance styles, cultivating creativity, physical coordination, and self-expression in students. You will inspire students to appreciate the art of dance while developing their technique, discipline, and performance skills.

As a Dance Teacher, you will design engaging and inclusive lessons, working with students of different age groups and abilities. You will also organize dance performances, participate in school events, and promote the overall well-being of students through movement and dance.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Teach Dance Styles**: Instruct students in various dance forms such as classical, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, ballet, or traditional dances, depending on the curriculum.
- **Develop Lesson Plans**: Create dynamic lesson plans that focus on building students' technique, coordination, flexibility, and rhythm, while also encouraging creativity and artistic expression.
- **Foster Physical and Artistic Growth**: Focus on improving students' strength, agility, posture, and artistic performance, while ensuring safety during physical activities.
- **Organize Performances**: Plan, rehearse, and coordinate dance performances, recitals, and school events. Support students in developing stage presence and performance confidence.
- **Promote Inclusivity and Expression**: Create a welcoming environment where students of all backgrounds feel encouraged to explore and express themselves through dance.
- **Assess Student Progress**: Evaluate students' progress in terms of skill development, performance, and creativity. Provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- **Collaborate with Other Faculty**: Work with other teachers and staff to integrate dance into school activities and events, and foster a holistic approach to education.
- **Stay Current with Dance Trends**: Keep up to date with new dance techniques, choreography styles, and industry trends. Share these insights with students to broaden their learning experience.
- **Encourage Teamwork and Discipline**: Promote collaboration, discipline, and respect among students, creating a strong sense of community within the dance class.
- **Involve in Extracurricular Activities**: Lead or participate in extracurricular dance clubs, workshops, and outreach programs to further students' passion for dance outside of regular classes.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- **Education**: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dance, Performing Arts, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Proven experience in teaching dance at the school or college level (experience in professional dance or choreography is a plus).
- **Dance Technique**: Expertise in a variety of dance styles (e.g., ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, etc.) and strong technical skills in performance.
- **Communication Skills**: Ability to clearly demonstrate and explain dance movements and techniques to students of varying skill levels.
- **Creativity**: Strong creative skills to develop original choreography and dance routines for students.
- **Physical Fitness**: In-depth understanding of dance physiology, including body mechanics, injury prevention, and warm-up/cool-down techniques.
- **Classroom Management**: Ability to manage a diverse group of students, ensuring focus, respect, and cooperation within the dance studio.
- **Performance Skills**: Comfortable with performing and leading students in dance recitals and public performances.
- **Adaptability**: Capable of tailoring teaching approaches to different age groups and abilities, while fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
- **Passion for Dance**: A deep passion for dance and a commitment to inspiring and educating the next generation of dancers.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
