Instrumentation Technician

**Job description**
- you will be a key contributor to our engineering team, responsible for the design, maintenance, and optimization of instrumentation systems and equipment
- Your role involves ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of measurement and control systems

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Instrumentation Design: Design, select, and specify instruments and control systems for new projects or process improvements
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure instrumentation requirements are met
- Instrumentation Installation: Oversee the installation, calibration, and commissioning of instrumentation equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation systems to ensure they function correctly and efficiently
- Diagnose and repair instrument-related issues
- Instrumentation Optimization: Optimize instrumentation systems to improve accuracy, reliability, and efficiency
- Identify and implement upgrades or enhancements
- Control Systems Integration: Integrate instrumentation with control systems (eg, DCS or PLC) to facilitate process control and automation
- Program and configure control systems as necessary
- Calibration and Testing: Perform calibration and testing of instruments and measurement devices
- Maintain calibration records and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Documentation: Maintain clear and organized documentation of instrumentation designs, specifications, and maintenance records
- Create as-built drawings and update documentation as needed
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that instrumentation systems comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations
- Participate in audits and inspections
- Spare Parts Inventory: Manage spare parts inventory for critical instrumentation equipment
- Ensure availability of essential components
- Safety: Promote safety procedures and practices in instrumentation activities
- Participate in safety reviews and risk assessments
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to maintenance and operations teams for proper instrumentation usage and troubleshooting

Languages - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, English
