As a bartender in a small city bar, your responsibilities will include:
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Mixing and serving drinks: Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
2. Managing cash and credit transactions: Handle customer payments, operate a point-of-sale system, and maintain accurate records.
3. Maintaining a clean and safe environment: Clean and sanitize the bar area, equipment, and glasses.
4. Providing exceptional customer service: Engage with customers, respond to their needs, and ensure a positive experience.
5. Managing inventory and supplies: Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and maintain organization.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Developing drink menus and specials: Create unique cocktails, seasonal offerings, or promotions to attract customers.
2. Building relationships with regulars: Foster a loyal customer base through personalized interactions and remembering preferences.
3. Handling conflicts and difficult customers: Resolve issues professionally and diplomatically.
4. Collaborating with other staff: Work with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service.
