**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a passionate, organized, and student-centered **School Librarian** to manage our school library and support students and staff in accessing and utilizing information and resources. The librarian plays a critical role in fostering a love for reading, supporting the curriculum, and teaching digital and information literacy.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Library Management**:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school library, including cataloging, shelving, and maintaining resources.
- Manage the library budget and maintain an up-to-date collection of print and digital materials.
- Organize book fairs, reading challenges, author visits, and other literacy events.
**Instructional Support**:
- Collaborate with teachers to support classroom instruction, including selecting materials and co-teaching research and literacy skills.
- Teach students how to access, evaluate, and use information ethically and effectively.
- Promote reading for pleasure and academic success across all grade levels.
**Technology Integration**:
- Manage digital resources, library software, and online databases.
- Guide students in using educational technology and digital tools for research and learning.
**Supervision and Guidance**:
- Supervise students in the library and maintain a positive, inclusive, and productive environment.
- Assist students and staff in locating resources and using library services.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
