**Position Summary**We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Solar Trainer to deliver domain training in Solar PV Installation and Operations Management. The trainer will conduct theoretical and field-based sessions, supporting trainees in acquiring practical skills and knowledge in the renewable energy sector. This role is critical to SwitchON’s mission of promoting sustainable energy livelihoods across rural India.

**Key Responsibilities**
- _**Training & Academics**_
- Deliver hands-on and theoretical training sessions in Solar PV Installation and Operations.
- Use standardized training materials and real-world examples to ensure participant engagement.
- Guide field visits, troubleshooting solar installation issues on-site.
- Address trainee queries and ensure conceptual clarity.
- _**Communication & Mobilization**_
- Inspire and motivate trainees through effective, inclusive teaching techniques.
- Coordinate with communities and local stakeholders to ensure training participation.Provide timely feedback and progress updates to trainees.
- _**Training Compliance**_
- Ensure sessions align with regulatory standards and organizational norms.Conduct evaluations and maintain accurate trainee records.
- Monitor progress and submit training reports.

- Uphold SwitchON’s values of transparency, professionalism, and accountability.
- Act as a role model, fostering a positive learning and working environment.

**Qualifications, Experience & Skills**
- **Education**:

- ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Mechanical, Fitter, or Instrumentation
- **Experience**:

- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience for ITI/Diploma holders
- **Skills**:

- Practical experience in the solar sector
- Strong technical expertise in solar/electrical systems
- TOT certification preferred (not mandatory)
- Ability to work independently and with rural trainees
- **Language**:

- Proficiency in Hindi, Bengali, and English (spoken and written)

**Reporting Structure** -Reports To: Project Manager - Skill Development (based in Kolkata)

**Travel Requirements** Extensive travel within Murshidabad and Bankura districts; occasional travel to Kolkata for internal meetings and coordination.

**Compensation**
- **Annual CTC: Upto**₹2-₹3 Lakhs per annum(Fixed)
- **Additional Benefits**:Variable Pay + Commitment Bonus _**(Compensation will be aligned with experience, qualifications, and current salary)**_
- **Reimbursement**: Official travel, stay, and logistics as per organizational policy

**Application Process**
- Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
