Communication skills: As a senior service desk analyst, you may be required to communicate with clients over the phone or in person. You may also be required to communicate with other employees in the company to relay information or answer questions. Effective communication skills can help you to be an effective service desk analyst.

Technical knowledge: Senior service desk analysts need to have a strong understanding of computer hardware and software. They need to be able to identify and troubleshoot technical issues, which requires a thorough knowledge of computer systems. Senior service desk analysts also need to have a good understanding of the company"s computer system and software to be able to train and mentor junior analysts.

Problem-solving skills: Senior service desk analysts must be able to solve problems that arise in the workplace. They must be able to identify the source of the problem and find a solution that satisfies the customer and keeps the company running smoothly. Senior service desk analysts may also be responsible for training new employees on how to solve problems.
