Student Counsellor

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address student needs and concerns.
- Engage in academic advising to guide students in their educational paths.
- Mentor students, offering support and encouragement throughout their academic journey.
- Conduct interviews with prospective students to assess their fit for programs.
- Utilize analysis skills to evaluate student progress and develop tailored support strategies.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance the educational experience.
- Participate in recruiting efforts to attract new students to the institution.
- Deliver presentations and workshops on relevant topics, demonstrating strong public speaking skills.
- Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and student interactions using systems like Ellucian or PeopleSoft.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in individual/group counseling, mentoring, or academic advising.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse student populations.
- Familiarity with education administration processes and university experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in using software systems such as Ellucian or PeopleSoft for record keeping and data management.
- Demonstrated ability in public speaking, teaching, and facilitating workshops.
- Strong analytical skills to assess student needs and program effectiveness.

Pay: From ₹500.00 per hour
