- Engage in community outreach and extension activities, representing the department and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
- Provide academic leadership, including mentoring junior faculty, contributing to departmental strategy, and supporting faculty development.
- Oversee program assessment, accreditation, and quality improvement initiatives to maintain and enhance academic standards.
- Education: Ph.D. in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, Soil Science, or a closely related field.
- Research Skills: Proven ability to secure research funding and conduct high-quality, impactful research in agriculture.
- Teaching & Mentorship: Advanced teaching skills, with a demonstrated commitment to student development and mentorship.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and collaborative abilities, with experience mentoring junior faculty and contributing to departmental strategy.
