**Job Title**: Welding Inspector (CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2)

**Location**: Sohar, Oman
**Duration**: 12 months (or as per project requirement)
**Tentative Mobilisation**: October 2025

**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Carry out welding inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Review WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications.
- Monitor welding processes, consumables, and equipment.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Liaise with project teams, contractors, and quality departments to ensure quality objectives are met.
- Ensure safety and quality requirements are strictly followed during all welding activities.

**Requirements**:

- Certification**:CSWIP 3.2 (Senior Welding Inspector)** or **CSWIP 3.1 (Welding Inspector)** (mandatory).
- Minimum **8 years of relevant experience** in welding inspection for heavy offshore structures.
- Strong knowledge of international welding codes and standards.
- Previous offshore/onshore fabrication yard experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
