**Job Summary**:
The Electrician in the Maintenance Department is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and machinery within the copper enameled wire manufacturing facility. This role ensures that all electrical components of production equipment, including wire drawing machines, enameling ovens, and other machinery, are operating safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous production.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Electrical Maintenance & Repair**:

- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components of machines such as wire drawing machines, enameling ovens, spooling machines, and other production equipment.
- Maintain and repair control panels, motors, transformers, switchgear, and other electrical devices.
- Conduct regular checks on electrical systems to prevent equipment failures and ensure uninterrupted operations.
- **Installation & Setup**:

- Install and set up electrical systems for new machines and equipment, including the wiring, control systems, and connections for production lines.
- Assist in commissioning new machines by ensuring electrical components are correctly installed and functioning as per the manufacturer’s specifications.
- **Preventive Maintenance**:

- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery, including testing and inspecting circuit continuity, electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Replace faulty wiring, worn-out components, or malfunctioning electrical parts to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety.
- **Troubleshooting & Diagnostics**:

- Use testing devices like ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to diagnose electrical malfunctions in machines and systems.
- Identify and resolve issues such as short circuits, faulty connections, or power supply problems in a timely manner to avoid production delays.
- **Safety & Compliance**:

- Adhere to all electrical safety protocols and ensure work is performed in compliance with company safety standards and local regulations.
- Regularly inspect and test electrical installations to ensure they meet safety codes, particularly in high-voltage areas and around industrial ovens.
- Report any electrical hazards or unsafe conditions immediately to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of electrical repairs, installations, maintenance work, and modifications done on machinery.
- Update the electrical system’s documentation and provide feedback on equipment performance, as well as suggestions for improvement.
- Work with the maintenance team to create and update electrical schematics and diagrams for plant machinery.
- **Collaboration & Teamwork**:

- Coordinate with the mechanical maintenance team to ensure seamless operations and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure that all machines are working correctly, and electrical issues are resolved efficiently.
- Liaise with external contractors or vendors for specialized electrical repairs or upgrades when required.
- **Continuous Improvement**:
**Qualifications and Skills**:

- ITI - Electrical
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Electrician in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in copper enameled wire or related industries.
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, including three-phase wiring, control panels, motor systems, and electrical schematics.
- Proficiency in using testing devices like multimeters, megohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with PLC systems and automation control systems used in wire drawing or enameling machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Working knowledge of 5S, electrical safety standards, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
