RAC LAB TECHNICIAN FOR TEACHING

Key responsibilities:

- **Preventative Maintenance**:

- Regularly inspect and clean RAC units, including filters, coils, and condensate drains.
- Check refrigerant levels and pressures to identify potential leaks.
- Lubricate moving parts as needed.
- Monitor system performance and identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- **Troubleshooting and Repair**:

- Diagnose malfunctions in RAC systems using diagnostic tools.
- Identify faulty components and replace them as necessary.
- Repair electrical wiring and connections related to RAC systems.
- Address issues with airflow, temperature control, and humidity levels.
- **Installation and Upgrades**:

- Install new RAC units and components according to specifications.
- Modify existing systems to meet changing needs.
- Perform system upgrades or retrofits to improve efficiency.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
- Generate reports on system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Communicate issues and findings to engineering team members
