Liferay Tester

The Role:
The Tester role is responsible for assisting product teams and delivering on their quality initiatives. Teams often have a wide variety of tasks that can fall on the back burner to more urgent or pressing concerns - this backlog can lead to diminished confidence in product quality. These tasks include validating defect reports (internal and external), developing, maintaining, and executing manual test cases, and writing test case scenarios and automated tests.

Liferay QA, Liferay 7.0, Hooks and Ext, HTML, CSS, Jquery

**Requirements**:
Job Requirement:

- Write and execute basic automated and manual test cases based on written and/or verbal requirements.
- Review and validate existing defect reports.
- Write clear, concise defect reports following QA standards and processes.
- Able to perform automation analysis and basic root cause analysis on failures.
- Demonstrate beginner-level automation test writing and test fixes that require some review.
- Demonstrate basic-level ability to set up different testing environments.
- Demonstrate proactive communication.
- Complete tasks by deadlines.
