**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a **creative, committed, and technically skilled Additional Film Editor** to join our in-house post-production team. This role is ideal for an editor who is passionate about both world and Indian cinema, fluent in English, and capable of crafting high-quality video content across a wide range of movie and web series formats. The Additional Editor will work closely with the Director as needed during the edit process and will simultaneously handle independent edits — including reels, podcasts, trailers, teasers, and more.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the main editing team on feature films, short films, and internal creative projects.
- Independently handle editing of:

- Movie trailers and teasers
- Promotional reels and montages
- Behind-the-scenes videos & podcasts
- Internal AV presentations
- Color grading and finishing using **DaVinci Resolve**.
- Motion graphics and VFX enhancements using **Adobe After Effects**.
- Manage media assets, project files, and ensure backup protocols are followed.
- Maintain creative consistency and align outputs with MH Films’ cinematic vision.
- Work closely with directors, producers, and social media teams to deliver timely and high-impact edits.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Degree/Diploma in Film Editing from a reputed Film Institute.
- 2-5 years experience in film or digital content editing (internships count).
- Strong understanding of cinematic language and global visual styles.
- Excellent command over English, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency in:

- **DaVinci Resolve** (Color Grading & Finishing)
- **Adobe After Effects** (Motion Graphics & VFX)
- **Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro** (Optional, bonus)
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple edits simultaneously.
- High attention to detail, storytelling instincts, and visual aesthetics.

**Preferred Attributes**:

- Passionate cinephile with a keen eye for rhythm, emotion, and visual storytelling.
- Positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and a proactive problem solver.
- Ability to adapt feedback constructively and evolve with project needs.
- Previous experience in editing trailers or cinematic content a big plus.
