Medical Officer Mbbs

Medical officer will be the in-charge and overall responsible for the effective functioning of the /MMU.
- The other staff of the clinic will work under his/her supervision on a day to day basis.
- Screening, diagnose and refer the patients.
- Coordinates with all nursing/paramedical & non-medical staff and ensure camps are done regularly.
- Complete and correct documentation of patient file & records and Data entry is mandatory.
- The doctor should enter the beneficiary data related to diagnosis and prescription in the given software
- Ensures required medicines, medical devices, diagnostics and stationery (op slips, etc.) are available including lab equipment & consumables.
- In case of referral to the nearest facility, the Mo shall maintain suitable records (detail address and the cause of emergency in the register and log book of the vehicle) and issue clear descriptive referral slips.
- He / she shall take immediate and appropriate actions during outbreaks of diseases and epidemic and inform concerned local health authority as well as, to render assistance as required and feasible.
