Your role in the team:
You will be responsible for conceptualising and executing web pages, web-related creative and digital design in a world-class in-house agency to support Central Marketing's agenda, and help differentiate the IG brand, attract new customer segments and grow market share.

You will be a member of the Digital Experience and Design Team, and will produce distinctive brand, acquisition and customer marketing assets and experiences, across IG's many web channels. You must be skilled in wire-framing, working with complex CMS systems, UX, UI,web and digital design. (Any knowledge of front-end programming would be a bonus, but not mandatory).

What you will do:
Your key responsibilities will include:

- Working closely with our optimisation team to conduct tests and maximise web performance globally
- Liaising with the landing environments team and developers to ensure web and app logic is properly integrated
- Optimising websites for maximum speed and scalability whilst ensuring website function and stability across devices, i.e. desktop, mobile and tablet
- Employing industry and design best practice throughout the website build process
- Being a key contributing member to project and campaign working groups, making recommendations and delivering against requirements to meet KPI’s
- Thinking strategically about to end-to-end client journeys, coming up with strategic recommendations and solutions for senior business stakeholders
- Being a guardian of our brand experience principles, delivering them throughout all of the work you deliver
- Be a key contributor to the Digital Experience and Design team and the Internal IG Agency that is spread across London, Krakow, Johannesburg and Bangalore.

What you’ll need for this role:
You will be a seasoned web creative and natural communicator, who delights in problem-solving and pushing the quality and innovation of delivery as far as it can go.
- Experienced in digital design with demonstrable experience in web design
- Excellent design skill and attention to detail, with a strong understanding of UI & UX
- A strong level of understanding and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma and Design Systems
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills, delivery focused, organised and flexible
- Accustomed to working as part of a project team, including UI/UX designers, copy writers, developers & project managers
- Able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A self-starter with a desire to develop and a willingness to learn about IG Group’s products and services
- Experienced in working with international offices/different regions
- Passionate about design excellence and results driven; you know good design can drive a business forward.

Nice to have but not mandatory:

- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and Adobe Experience Manager would be advantageous as would knowledge of React JavaScript framework knowledge (e.g. Material UI, React Bootstrap, Redux, Semantic UI React,
- Understanding of the technical elements of SEO would be advantageous.

Qualifications:

- Degree or diploma in web design, programming or similar
